Gambling related match-fixing: a terminal threat to the integrity of sport?

Proposals to curb fixing are discussed as are recent laws and moves at self regulation in the gambling industry. Particular focus is made of cricket and the law of the UK in the light of the jail sentences handed down to three pakistan cricketers in 2011 and an English first class player in 2012; other sports are also discussed as are European initiatives to fight fixing.
