Ana joined ARU in January 2022. She was previously Lecturer and Researcher, Academic Coordinator and Vice-Dean for Student Affairs at UIC Barcelona. She also founded and was Co-Director of the Masters in Artificial Intelligence for Architectural Design at Barcelona Tech School of executive eduction. Ana holds a PhD in Technology in Architecture & Building Construction and a MPhil in Artificial Intelligence from Barcelona Tech - UPC. She is a registered architect with a MArch on Design As Research (DRL) from the Architectural Association of London , and a MRes in Adaptive Architecture and Computation from the Bartlett, University College of London. She has been a fellow of the Pedro Barrie de la Maza/British Council foundation and of the BancoSantander Universia Foundation. She pursues interdisciplinary approaches in Architecture, Computer Science and Engineering with the aim of integrating the unique process of a multidisciplinary design with innovative technology.
