Assessing the Impact of GCGP´s Investments
This project will provide Greater Cambridge, Greater Peterborough LEP with an up-to-date critical and interpretive literature review of the most relevant past and current economic and statistical contributions on policy impact assessment.
Based on this literature review, we will develop a report that contains clear guidelines on the most appropriate approach to be used depending on the data-specific nature of the policy to be assessed.
This report will inform GCGP about the best methods for impact assessment in order that GCGP can accurately report on the impact of their investments on the local economy.
This project has been developed as part of Anglia Ruskin University’s contribution to the GCGP Technical Assistance project. We will use the findings from this report to feed into the Best Practice Network that Anglia Ruskin is creating for the TA Project. Through the Best Practice Network we will disseminate the findings from this work more widely, and ensure that we support GCGP in demonstrating impact from their investments.
This project will be led by two experts on economic models for measuring innovation performance and the impact assessment of public innovation support programmes…
