presentation
posted on 2023-07-26, 12:37 authored by Anthony Russell, Kevin ThompsonTalking Heads is an on-line community for all the heads in England. Using Think.Com software its community based approach seeks to transform the continuing professional development of school leaders. It seeks to be a virtual space where the twenty four thousand heads in England are able to support, learn from each other and have the opportunity to engage in meaningful dialogue with policy advisers and decision makers. This paper tells the story of Talking Heads, examines its impact so far and how it gave rise to similar, but different, communities in Scotland and Wales. It discusses how these experiences might be relevant to the Republic of Ireland.
