Infrastructure networks do not exist in isolation. Rather they are interconnected to other infrastructures and, as technological development increases, so too does the linkage between networks. This bi-directional relationship can increase the complexity in the system of systems significantly. In general, infrastructure interdependencies can be categorized according to various dimensions in order to facilitate their identification, understanding, and analysis. These interdependencies can potentially influence the resilience of a network. This paper aims to investigate the effect of network configuration and interdependencies on a variety of resilience measures. The results of this study will show the extent of the effectiveness of different redundancy strategies on different resilience measures which can then contribute to the promotion of infrastructure adaptation decision-making process.
