Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is associated with significant mortality, and the most common underlying cause is myocardial infarction. Previously, observational data had suggested a benefit from immediate coronary angiography (CAG) for patients with or without ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI),1 although across the world great variation in practice remains in the utility and timing of CAG.
