<p dir="ltr">Out-of-hospital cardiac arrest (OHCA) is associated with significant mortality, and the most common underlying cause is myocardial infarction. Previously, observational data had suggested a benefit from immediate coronary angiography (CAG) for patients with or without ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI),<a href="https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamacardiology/article-abstract/2808020#hic230007r1" target="_blank"><sup>1</sup></a> although across the world great variation in practice remains in the utility and timing of CAG.</p>
