In the digital age, traditional academic communication paradigms are evolving, with the rise of brief, accessible content and the inclusion of emojis, multimedia elements, and other non-textual forms. However, challenges such as the need for educator training and potential misinterpretations of emojis are noted.

The review highlights the transformative potential of these communication methods in creating more inclusive and accessible educational experiences. It underscores the importance of further exploration and adoption of these modern communication strategies in diverse educational settings.
