Furthermore, this prototypical textile is inspired both in form and function by scales in nature It consists of an adaptable skeleton, informed by the topology of the body, and aperture-components that open and close in order to achieve natural ventilation and therefore cooling towards thermal comfort, improving the environmental impact regarding the energy consumption.
