Romantic radicalism in the sciences and engineering

As radical and reforming newspapers then went out of business Engineering publications, often selling for half of that price, began to carry articles and letters on education, politics and class between articles on engineering matters like improving the efficiency of steam engines and plans for new road surfaces.
