The purpose of this chapter is to describe and analyze the state of development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its regulation in Chile from a human rights perspective. In particular, we will analyze the current regulatory framework, and evaluate the bills and other initiatives that seek to adapt the Chilean legal system to the challenges arising from AI. Finally, we will make some recommendations for the State of Chile.
