Countering the toxic policy exchange: Reflections on UK and Australian approaches to ‘immigration control’ and academic-activist partnerships of resistance

A commentary chapter which reflects on the two succeeding chapters (exploring community and academic collaborative activism and support for refugees and asylum seekers in Australia) and draws upon the author's own research to critically analyse, compare and and discuss the differences in approaches to regulation of Refugee status and access to welfare protection in the UK and Australia.
